About the Program

The Urban Economic STEAM Program is a 15-week, high-quality, hands-on training and workshop series that brings families together to learn, grow, and thrive.

Through in-person workshops and interactive online sessions, participants gain essential skills in all seven areas of Home Economics — the foundations of confident, independent, and healthy living.

This program is designed for youth, young adults, and families who want to strengthen teamwork, improve household management, and prepare for real-world success.

Participants also have the opportunity to earn professional certifications, including:

  • ServeSafe® Food Safety Certification

  • CPR & First Aid Certification
